Responsible for implementing, creating and updating designs for Hanley Wood magazines websites and home plan websites, designing and coding of email newsletters for Hanley Wood magazines. Led the redesign of the website for Custom Home and ProSales magazines.

Graphic Designer
Jan 2008 - Jan 2009. Full-time. Responsible for designing and implementing websites and print collateral; creative development of logo design and brand
identity; and assuring adherence to web standards and practices. Following style guide, developed an attractive, functional website for BASF. Assisted in concept development for websites with supervisor and in company/client brainstorming sessions. Managed a vendor developing internal branding and collateral material for Triad; developed internal projects for promotional/other purposes. Assisted in the development of user interfaces (e.g. designed a relationship accountability management system) for Internet applications.

Creative Director
Co-founded Mutagenics Apparel (www.mutagenics.com). My role in the
company includes responsibility for brand identity, creating and overseeing the development of designs for graphic t-shirts, designing and creating the company website, and coordinating production of Mutagenics’ products with vendors. Also responsible for sales, fulfillment, promotion and advertising.

Worked on website designs for local businesses (presently unreleased), wrote design proposals for potential clients, promoted and created new designs for Mutagenics.

Worked on freelance projects for other designers. Developed a social networking website which is now defunct.
Lab Volunteer
Volunteer at the Computer Learning and Design Center at Howard University. Responsibilities included: managing and maintaining computer networks (Windows and Macintosh), teaching classes in website design and Flash to other volunteers.
