As a Web Developer and Interactive Designer I worked as part of a scrum team designing and developing new features for Hanley Wood publication websites as well as systems for internal use by the editorial staff.

As a Web Designer, my primary responsibilities included implementing, creating and updating designs for Hanley Wood publication and home plan websites, designing and coding of email newsletters as well as providing wireframes and mockups for new website functionality.

A few of the major projects I worked on include:

  • Developing an API to import articles via JSON to Tridion CMS.
  • Implementing a video gallery section for all publication websites.
  • Leading the redesign of the website for Custom Home and ProSales magazines.
  • Design and coded a standard template to be used allow for rapid migration of over 15 websites to a new content management system.
  • Designing a standardized, responsive, two column email newsletter template.
  • Wireframing, UI/UX design and development of a project gallery section for multiple publication websites to allow users to submit content.
  • UI/UX design for the Local Housing Data section of the Builder magazine website.
